My talent build as a Warlock is mainly Demonology, but I use damage-overtime spells (Dots) instead of direct spell hits. I mainly use Drain Soul as my damage output when dealing with trash mobs in dungeon runs, and apply all my dots on dungeon bosses and such... which is why I made this suggestion post.
The idea is to give Warlocks a spell or ability in disabling and reenabling the collection of Soul Shards with their Drain Soul spell... The On-and-Off Switch ability could perhaps enhance or diminish the damage dealt of Drain Soul when it is disabled in collecting Soul Shards... or neither... so long as there is an On-and-Off Switch ability for Drain Soul in collecting Soul Shards.
