Yes, but maybe scaled with each offense. First time is 15 min kick, second 30, third 12hr or something along those lines.
There also needs to be a clearly defined metric for how long afk counts before getting hit with a reprimand.
This would either require a reporting system or someone to review footage. The second option would be very time consuming for mods but probably safer than majority rule.
Maybe something like a debuff if youre out of combat for a certain period of time? But even with that, you could be watching a flag in ab and rarely see combat. So idk.
I do agree that afk is a huge problem in bg but I want to make sure the response to it is also proportionate.

Im for good verification its also why penalty should be harsh, we had people get 12h deserter on yshaarj already in past when reported for afking multiple times. And after 2 people got that penalty they quit afking. And deserter buff 12h for afk honor farming is light punishment. Should just also wipe their honor/rankprogress for a week.

The fact that druid "Noatak" is still able to q for BG's is inconceivable to me
Even that Hpala Goober, between raging on Nzoth players and trolling, he still tries to press his buttons (although even a monkey can play the most OP healer).

Battlegrounds have always been poorly moderated, even on Turtle. Alliance AFKing at stables in AB is a statistical fact.

Only on the pve realms ye, on pvp we sort this out with wpvp if needed. Now we cant even camp these people+ their guild if no action taken because pve server people
