This seems more like a UI issue if anything. You click on the paladins hp bar and hide all pets anyway.... Unless you deliberately want to kill hunter pets like me.
that makes zero sense lol. itβs not a ui issue when a tiny noggenfoggered pally is physically buried under 6 ghost models and you can't even click his actual character in a chaotic team fight. tab targeting just cycles through the summons anyway.
also hunter pets actually die and take balance into account, this necrodin spam is just a broken proc exploit. stop deflecting.
how to say you're pvp casual without actually saying that.
It is indeed UI issue cause noone sane clicks the actual model of character in pvp. Nameplates are there for that which makes is super easy to click them (and as Deebsy mentioned you can hide pet nameplates). I don't see peopel complaining about super small rogues cause you can just click the nameplate. It is both UI and Skill issue. Not an exploit of any kind.

bro

someone from skill Issue telling people to git gud while defending a pally hiding behind six AI babysitters is peak comedy
congrats on figuring out nameplates exist lil bro, doesn't make your broken ass t2 proc interaction any less cheesy lmfao
imagine needing an entire ghost daycare to win a fight and calling OTHER people bad
skill issue really is a self-report at this point

absolute meme of a post
you got anything useful to add to the discussion bro or are you just here to post zero-effort brainrot?
if you don't actually understand how broken the mechanics are, maybe go back to hunting cheese in the fields or whatever rats do. absolute meme of a reply.
I would if there were any constructive points that make sense here

Gilford has a good point and it's valid, but I think the issue of how toxic the build is needs to be addressed, i know it would require work, but the ghost pally build is INSANELY toxic in pvp and requires little to zero brain power. Gilford is big brain but half the pallies on the server can run this build with little to no effort and create such havok and make it so much less fun. Again, I think Gilford has a valid point but the issue itself needs to be addressed imo
Dude, to work necrodins need to hit constantly, it has way less burst than sp ret and ap ret and it's very kuck reliant. It's like watching the old 2h shaman one shots and thinking every hit procs wf crits..

BWL is around the corner and with it comes T2 sets and bonuses. On Turtle WoW Paladins were notoriously toxic and annoying with the "Necrodin" build. They were able to use "Possessions of the Lost" set and by stacking T2 3 set bonus which would add holy damage to their attacks and for some reason this "holy damage" would count as a spell cast towards procing the Lost set. Paladins can stack 2 different T2 3 set bonuses to double this holy damage proc. We just had a poll about PvP and overpowered classes. This exploit of T2 bonuses seems to fall right in line with the PvP inbalance. No other class can manipulate Possessions of the Lost in this way except Paladin. I think OctoWoW should right the wrong Turtle WoW was too scared to fix.
you dont need the t2 3set bonus to do this btw, there are items already available that can do the same effect, like
https://octowow.st/db/?item=55359 ,
https://octowow.st/db/?item=58209 ,
https://octowow.st/db/?item=17111 &
https://octowow.st/db/?item=61332 to name a few
No, those don't work. Only T2 works with the lost and similar effects.
They are worded the same but they are different

I think the Lost Set is good and its something different. My problem is Paladin having an overwhelming advantage to summoning so many ghosts and so often. No other class can obtain this.
Honestly. I don't necessarily advocate for this to be paladin exclusive, but considering it need 9 specific items to work and it is limited by weapon selection, the lack of dual wield and way less powerful class haste source.. Yeah, the only way it keeps being balanced is by leaving it paladin exclusive.

Want to fight necrodins? Here some tips:
The ghosts lasts 20 seconds, abuse that by stalling and not get hit if you see a lot of them.
Necrodins can only spawn ghosts if they hit things. And depending on your class they're highly kitable.
Necrodins are proc based, meaning they can get lucky or absurdly unlucky. Ghosts have a 4-5% proc chance per divine strike trigger.
Though every swing has 4 triggers 4-5% isn't much. As a guy that spent a lot of time playing with the build i can assure you that unless it has chances to constantly hit something it is not a given to have ghosts spawning.
Instead of bitching out play around the build's weakness.
Git gud

You can talk to Lhian still. He was the one who made the decision to keep it in the game and made Necrodin a canon turtlewow build. Getting rid of it because you don't like it would corrupt the experience and significantly change the game in a manner not intended by the original devs.
