We value community feedback heavily.
Thank you so much for WSG on HC, this is awesome! Here are a few ideas on how to make it even better:
1. Display the number of players currently in queue for the BG. Right now, it's impossible to tell how many people are already queuing and when the BG might actually start. Since joining a BG that has already started is not allowed, knowing when it is likely to begin is absolutely critical.
It would be even better if we could see the WSG queues for each individual bracket. Like many other players, I have characters of different levels, but I can only queue for a BG with one of them at a time. However, there is no way to know which character will get into a BG faster. If I could see how many players are queuing in different brackets, I would log in with the character from the bracket that has the most active queue and will therefore start sooner.
Upd. Another option is to post announcements both at the official BG start (when the gates open) and when the 'prep room' opens. At that moment, a system message could say: '2 minutes until the start of WSG [bracket level]'. This allows everyone who wants to participate to queue up and enter in time. As a result, BG matches won't be limited to just the minimum 3v3 format.
2. Split the large 10-level brackets in half to create 5-level brackets. For example, instead of the 10-19 bracket, create two separate brackets: 10-14 and 15-19. There are two reasons for this. First, because HC servers prohibit grouping up and trading items with players who are more than 5 levels above or below you. Second, it makes no sense to join a BG at level 10-14 only to face level 19 players. Whenever you hit a new milestone level (20, 30, 40, etc.), you essentially have to forget about BGs for the next 5-6 levels. If the brackets were split, players could enjoy doing BGs at almost any level.
